Q: Actually I was writing a paper on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and I polled about 600 fans using Whedonesque to get people over to my survey, and Spuffies were the majority of that group, with 32% of respondents shipping Spuffy, 19% of respondents shipping Willow/Tara, and then Bangel was at 12%. Mary Kirby-Diaz has also done extensive research in the Whedon fandom, and she has reached the same conclusion.

Q: Your latest post about Spuffy and Bangel shippers is kinda false, in some ways. There's a lot of Bangel fans that ship Spuffy (like myself) and vice versa... so the number of Bangel and Spuffy shippers out there are pretty much neck and neck.
